After 3 turns, at the start of your turn, Destroy all the Highest Units on the Board.

Deploy: Gain 3 Armor.

GwentDB ID

Villentretenmerth is a neutral Gold Draconid unit of high strength.

Villentretenmerth is primarly used in Northern Realms decks, because of two reasons: Northern Realm easily can immunize his units with Promote while passive removes Villentretenmerth from the range of most of cards capable to remove Gold cards. Usually, he is played in the second or third round, when your opponent can't play enough unit during his timer to win the round.

When he is demoted (with Dimeritium Shackles, Dimeritium Bomb or Dijkstra), he can remove himself. If he is the strongest non-Gold unit on the board when his timer goes to zero, his ability only destroys him, and it doesn't trigger a second time.

It's generally considered a good move to play spies while Villentretenmerth's timer counting, since the high-strenght spies easily become the strongest or second strongest unit on the board, denying their strength from the oppoenent, while gaining a valuable card in your hand.
