Ban Ard Adept used to be a token created by Margarita Laux–Antille whenever a Gold unit appeared on your side of the battlefield. It was later replaced with Aretuza Adept as a token with the same power. The Aretuza Adept was then made into a separate card with the launch of public beta (with Margarita being reworked to have a completely different ability), and Ban Ard Adept's art was reused for Vicovaro Novice.
